I hadn't been on my Sims 4 in about a month and when I opened it my sims were missing so many clothing items and house items. i noticed the counters for my kitchen were just one of the items missing YET the files were still in my mods folder (they NEVER left) and i went to the place where i originally downloaded it (Curseforge) and REDOWNLOADED the files, deleting the original ones i had and replacing them with the new downloaded ones. then i opened my game and the counters were back. but the thing is when i went to Curseforge to redownload them it said the last time that the mod was updated was in September 2023. so it wasn't just the matter of an outdated mod that needed to be updated. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!
ALSO this is a weird thing that happened. My mods folder suddenly almost every mod has a time stamp next to it? I've never seen it before so I'm confused. Don't know if it has any correlation but.
If you did save with the mods out, you’ll want to recover an old version of the save. Let us know if you need help with this.

- alyssaswan142 years agoNew Traveler@PipMenace did you see the picture i attached as well of what my mods in the folder look like?

@alyssaswan14 I see it but I don’t necessarily see anything wrong with it? Other than just your cc being older, as you noted. With cc that’s not always an issue, but you never know. Perhaps someone else can weigh in.
Edit: Can you place the cc on a new sim and it’s just missing from the existing ones, or is it all gone from the game entirely?
- alyssaswan142 years agoNew Traveler@PipMenace its all missing entirely. im currently redownloading each mod seperately and when i do it this way it doesn't show up with the time stamp next to it. that's what seems to be the problem.
