Sims 4 Wedding Stories UI Bug?

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a wedding ceremony
What happens when the bug occurs? UI disappears as if I were to press the tab button after I go into build mode during the event. The Event will not end. The event timer just circles non-stop and goes on for days. UI for events up in the top left corner has symbols and no information. If you click on the UI for the wedding event you cannot exit that window and have to go to task manager and just end the application. Any interactions during a wedding event will not work the sims all just stay in the same place having the actions queued but never following through. When you try to save and exit to the main menu it goes to the loading screen and then it turns white and never goes any further, i've waited for 10+ minutes multiple times to see if it would ever load but it does not and now my entire save file is broken, I'm stuck in a never-ending loop.
What do you expect to see? UI stays on the screen regardless of going into manage worlds and back into the lot, or entering build mode. Event UI showing actual information instead of just symbols. The event timer and activities to display and end when the event should be over. Interactions follow through instead of just staying queued. When saving and exiting to the main menu the game should take you to the main menu instead of freezing on a blank white screen.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

My save file is broken now I cannot do anything in that save ☹️
