Sims 4 won’t load any household to play

Every time it loads the household I previously played it takes me back to “manage worlds” and once I click the same household it brings me back to “managed worlds”. If I click a different household it loads forever and I still never get to play it, the loading bar will be full and the game will still not open.

I looked on EA help page and Reddit to see what other people did to fix the same issue I’m having. They restarted their device, deleted other games, unplugged the game from the wall and/or rebuilt the data base. All things I’ve done and I’m still having the same problem. I’m playing the Sims 4 on PlayStation 4 and  see no resolution online for how to fix it. Please help!

  • Hi @Babygirl__Tii . Are you able to load a previous version of the save? Start at the Main Menu. Select Load Game, then pick from the list for the save you want an earlier version of, but don’t select Play. Instead, click on the disk symbol with a back arrow. This will show you a list of earlier versions of that save. Only the most recent times you saved will be here. Pick one and select Recover.

Thank you. I play on my console so I took your suggestion of pressing load game and it started working! I didn’t do the other stuff because I assumed that was for a pc. Hopefully it works today

  • @Babygirl__Tii Try pressing load game and picking one of your saved families from there. It worked for me , but I also rebuilt my data base twice

I tried clicking load games before and it worked but now I’m having the same problem again and pressing load game isn’t working now ☹️ and it doesn’t have the option to click a disk symbol with a back arrow. On “load game” it has my previous saves and the only option is to click the “x” button to play the save or the “o” button to go back, I’m playing on ps4. Thank you for responding!
