Sim's Ability to Choose Career is Gone

I'm not sure why this is happening: My two Sims' careers are glitched out. Bad. My male Sim has a blank panel for the option to Join a Career. There is nothing there to select! I've removed all my mods and tested the game without them after clearing my cache files out. The only way he can have a career is when I go through his phone options and the panel is normal. Only when he quits his career is the blank panel back. My female Sim can choose a career, but every so often, that career vanishes and I have to start all over again. I've reset the entire game before, started a new one and reloaded everything back in from my Gallery and I've even repaired the game multiple times. This doesn't happen for any of my other households and I do play in rotation.
