Sims age extended.

Question

My adult sim’s age has extended by 23 days.. and I am unsure why. &nbsp;I think it’s because of the new patch with auto aging sims. &nbsp;A child in the household was auto aged so I’m almost certain something must have affected the adult sim as well. &nbsp;His last birthday was not recent and I can see from the calendar that his birthday moved all the way to the end of the calendar when it was coming before in two weeks. &nbsp;I am unsure on how to fix this. My life span on the save is normal so it’s weird that it’s going through a bug.&nbsp;

@ReshmaDeodat&nbsp;There is an issue with aging on short/long lifespan. As a workaround change to normal until EA issues a fix.

Was the child due to age ? The aging bug should not affect normal.

Their birthday was the same day yes, but they shouldn’t have aged up because it usually takes a full day without aging them up after their birthday for them to auto age (at least to what I set my game to. &nbsp;I could be wrong about this so let me know). &nbsp; But the adult for certain did not have the age he has now. &nbsp;It definitely made his life longer all of a sudden. &nbsp;Since like the average age for an adult in a normal life span is 24 days and he was an adult in my game for about a week, but now has 23 days. &nbsp;The birthday significantly moved and I’m pretty sure it was because of the bug. &nbsp;However if you think it’s something else let me know what I can do. &nbsp;

@crinrict Ook so I checked the link you sent me and my adult age made sense in terms of that. I think that’s what it is. Do you think it’s safe to play rn? Ik there’s a lot of other bugs so maybe I should wait. But let me know

@ReshmaDeodat  Don't play on long, that has major issues. On normal you should be find but create a copy of your save to be sure so you can go back if something goes wrong.
