sims buttons messed up

ever since the new lovestruck update came out in july, my buttons have been switched around (ex : there's a calendar icon where the phone button is, etc.) and this doesn't make the game IMPOSSIBLE to play, but its certainly annoying. at first I thought it was a UI cheats problem, so I removed that from my mods folder, but the problem is still there. I have removed teleport sims, poseplayer, mc command center, more columns, and map replacements.  ive also tried removing all my cc and restarting the game, but when I added my cc back, the problem returned. I cannot, for the life of me, find the root cause to this problem. is there something im missing or something else I need to do ? Thanks !
