@jackiepc2005 This is most often a mods issue. Start with a check through the Broken/Updated Mods lists and make sure to delete localthumbcache each time you change what's in the folder. And rather than just removing mods one by one (and custom content!), pull them all out, delete localthumbcache, and test in batches: 50-50
- 2 years ago@luthienrising what do you mean by deleting localthumbcache? There is also a bug where the worlds are duplicated
- Moozilla132 years agoSeasoned Ace@jackiepc2005 The localthumbcache is a file you'll find in the main Sims 4 game folder, same place you find your Mods subfolder. Anytime you need to make changes to the Mods you're using in game, you want to make sure you delete this or it can cause issues.
As far as the worlds being duplicated, there is current thread with a workaround for this (link below). Check it out and see if this sounds like the issue you're seeing. If so, this should take care of it 🙂

Hi, so I tried deleting localthumbcache that did not work. But I also tested the game without any cc or mods and my sims could interact with their infant. So it is probably my cc it's just that I have a lot of it to go through and figure out which one is the problem.

@jackiepc2005 One cause can often be that complex gameplay mods aren't installed right - they're missing files - so check installation requirements for those as well.
