sims can't interact with eachother!

i've been playing the sims for a little bit but the characters i've made seriously can't talk to eachother, for example i'm on one character and i click my other character, the interactions menu doesn't pop up at all. i need help so bad!!

Hi there @dqsiannn could you please let us know if you play on Xbox/playstation or on PC with mods or CC installed?
If you are on PC with mods can you test this without mods and see if it continues?

i play on macbook with origin, i have mods installed and when i took them out it allowed them to talk which i'm super confused about, would it be a script?

Seems as if one of your mods needs an update.

i think i'm just gonna restart my mods and make sure nothing bad happens, thank you guys for the help. :-)
