Hello, Today, I placed two sims into a new save to play with them and noticed that one of my sims looked strange. I went back into CAS and discovered that this sim's nose, face, and body shape reverted to their original presets. I use a lot of CC and have encountered issues, but I'm usually able to fix them myself. This one is confusing because I have tried to change the nose, lips, ears, and body presets but the sim always looks the same after I come out of CAS. I've also tried to remove all cc on the sim and their face is still messed up. This isn't happening to any other sim that I made after her, even the other one in the same household. I haven't seen any other people with the same problem online.I really don't want to make this sim from scratch so any help would be greatly appreciated.Here is a photo that shows what I'm talking about.

I'm just not seeing anything other than one pic is a little darker due to the lighting than the other, so I don't see a difference.But I can tell you that trying to make an exact clone in CAS is really hard. As far as I can tell, CAS won't give you an exact duplicate when you use the option there. Close sometimes but just not the same. I've tried a number of times and just couldn't get two identical sims especially their faces and the body shape isn't the same most of the time either.Though I do know one way to get an exact clone. Use the GTW cloning machine. When you do it that way, everything about the sim and clone will be the same. But when you do it that way, the sims will look the exactly the same, have all the same skill levels and traits, same hair makeup, body details and clothes. The clone gets a random 1st name and has no completed aspirations or a job. They show as sisters or brothers, but the clone is identified as a clone too. But it can go wrong, and you end up with an evil clone. I always save before I clone a sim so if it goes wrong, I can reload and try again so I get a good sim.That might be one way to get what you want if you have Get to Work. You'll have to do the Scientist Career and build and upgrade it though.Hope this helps.

@CGrant56 I suspect that somehow the sim genetic data might be corrupted because I used CAS to make a twin and the sim that was generated when I randomized never had the same face. It's like the game can't replicate her features. Strangely enough, if I change the face after the sim is placed in the world, the face doesn't revert. I've honestly never seen anything like this.

Have you been able to fix it? I'm not sure that I'm having the same problem, but it could be related. I'm noticing that many of my existing sims suddenly had their faces changed. I used the genetics system to create many (but not all) of the many affected sims.

i have the same problem. my sim is the daughter of the grim reaper, she is now a teen. when i modify her in cas the game resets her face and body physics after i exit and reload into a new lot. i repaired my game and updated all my mods, but nothing fixes it.please help ☹️

Could you take a look at your pics and change one to a live mode shot. Both pics I see are in CAS.

I suspect that somehow the sim genetic data might be corrupted because I used CAS to make a twin and the sim that was generated when I randomized never had the same face. It's like the game can't replicate her features. Strangely enough, if I change the face after the sim is placed in the world, the face doesn't revert. I've honestly never seen anything like this.

Its happening to me to, but only with my sim who is a child of the grim reaper. I just keep changing her face again and again. Its so annoying

i have the same problem, my triplet sims are also the grim reapers kids, and they just became teens. after i leave cas, their faces keep on morphing into a weirdly short face and their eyes become really small. please let me know if you found a way to fix it, or if you found the mod causing this
