Sims game not saving when UI thumbnail disappears

Hi there, i have been expiencing an issue in my Sims game where the UI Thumbnail disappears which makes it unable to save my game. 

I have repaired my game, recovered my save and updated/got rid of mods that I believe could be causing this issue. 

However, this issue is still occurring... 

Please help me figure out what is going on with my game and help identify where this issue is coming from. 

This issue is making it IMPOSSIBLE to play my game. 

Please HELP ME D:

    @SaltyTrait 

    What I see in your pic looks like a normal save in progress.  I don't see anything missing.  So, what exactly is happening?  Is the save hanging up on the save screen and locking the game up or is it something else?

    Have you tried playing without any mods?  Have you tried a new game?

    Hello, thanks for your response. 

    The problem has now evolved into me not loading into this family AT ALL. This is with or without any CC. I have tried putting this family into another save to see if the save was the issue. 

    However, the save is not the issue. Even when i put this family into another save (with and without CC), the game does not load at all. 

    It is safe to say that my actual sims family has been corrupted somehow. 

    I will now have to restart a new legacy after growing attached to this one ... 

    If anyone is having this issue, please do reply 🙂

    @sickress Could you explain what exactly is occurring for you? Is the game just stuck trying to save? If so, have you tested without mods?
