Sims keep slipping
Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.81.72.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? University, Island Living, Get Famous, Seasons, Cats and Dogs, City Living, Get Together, Get to Work. Movie Hangout, Cool Kitchen, Perfect Patio, Luxury Party, Industrial Loft, Blooming Rooms
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Walk around and see if your sim slips.
What happens when the bug occurs? Sims in the controlled household will occasionally slip in any of the worlds, no matter the weather or if there's a puddle or no puddle under the sim. So far, I haven't noticed any NPCs slipping. Also the slipping happens outside and off the lot too. The frequency of the slipping is the same as during the winter time, very random.
What do you expect to see? Normal slipping/sims not slipping when they shouldn't be.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
I've had this bug for a couple of months, but I can't remember when it started happening but sometime this fall. I didn't do anything about it because I assumed it was because of mods and it didn't really bother me that much.
- @t00sa Unfortunately the video size is so small that it's impossible to see what's happening in it so you might be better off with a couple of screenshots instead. They did a revamp of some of the traits, including the Clumsy trait. After that clumsy sims will slip randomly.
Does your sim actually fall down? If not, check if they have the clumsy trait. Then it's just new intended behaviour BUT if your sims actually fall to the ground even with no ice/puddles present then it might be a bug.
