Sims leaving early from work/school

I just sent my sims to work and high school and not even a couple of sim minutes later, I get a pop up asking if I’m sure they want to leave early. Even when I click no, they still return home. I saw some posts talking about if the house is haunted or if they’re in a terrified mood, they’ll come home. However, neither is the case for me. I also seen another saying if you send them to with sack lunches, it’ll send them home but these posts are old. Does anyone have any clue what’s going on? I wanted to get any feedback before I went through my mods. I believe everything is up to date.
