Sims stay longer at school/ work

Hi!!! My sims stay at school till around 5pm when they should come home at 3pm. I have an other sim that has to work till 4pm and they have the same problem but the sim that works from 5pm to 11pm c...

    @Soraia801 Are you using a mod to change gameplay time? That setting can cause problems with careers and timed events. Unfortunately, it also takes a while to get back to normal (as much as several Sims days) after you change the setting back to the game default.

I did add a mod that makes the game run more smothly i will see if removing it fixes the problem

    the mod was the problem :D now it's fixed
