Sims (teens/younger) randomly being moved out of their households

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.109.207.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get To Work, Get Together, City Living, Cats and Dogs, Seasons, Get Famous, University, Eco Lifestyle, Snowy Escape, Cottage Living, High School Years, Growing Together, Dream Home Decorator, Parenthood, Romantic Garden, Backyard, My First Pets, Moschino, Tiny Living, Nifty Knitting, Paranormal, Crystal Creations, Book Nook, Desert Luxe, Blooming Rooms
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I'm not sure how to recreate this because it is very random unfortunately. If you notice households randomly splitting up despite neighborhood stories settings not allowing for that or being turned off in general than you'll have recreated it. For the second part, merging/moving sims in manage worlds causes a game load error.
What happens when the bug occurs? What seems to be happening is for some reason, teens or younger from certain default households (specifically noticed in two separate saves, once with the Delgatos and once with the Goths) will randomly be moved out into other households (separately from each other as well.) In regards to the Delgatos, 3 of the kids were all moved into random other households, neighborhood stories was turned on but moving out was turned off for everyone. In the case of the Goths, Cassandra and Alexander were placed separately into random other households and neighborhood stories was completely turned off for the Goth household. After this occurs, trying to move sims in manage worlds causes an error. If I try to put alexander and cassandra back into the goth household, I get a "game failed to load error" (please note I have posted in a topic about that specific error as well, as I see at least that part is happening to others as well). I have no problems moving sims around in manage households BEFORE this weird moving situation happens. Would need to double check if I can move sims from unrelated households around in manage worlds or if it truly breaks for everyone after this randomly happens. I will note that I have MCCC and I know that can impact moving settings (although it should not be causing this based on my settings, never had this issue before recently), that being said this is a brand new issue and I have been using MCCC for ages. Also the post moved manage worlds game load error occurs even with MCCC removed.
What do you expect to see? Sims to not move out randomly
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I have no idea how to test for this or really keep tabs on it because it happens so randomly. The delgatos were in "other households" but the goths were in "my households", I cannot figure out any similarities and also I'm not sure if this is happening to other households and I simply didn't notice except in these two cases. I have attached the error code as well for good measure, although it doesn't appear until after trying to move households in manage worlds.

It seems if I move sims in unrelated households, not the ones that were randomly split apart/moved, it does not cause the game load error afterwards so it does seem to be related specifically to that bug/issue.

secondly, the sims that were moved out have no option to be asked to join household or ask to join household from their original household. I tested this with mortimer and cassandra and neither could "ask to join household" with the other sim. the option simply didn't exist even with high/max friendship. not sure if this is because cassandra is a teen ? (never tried asking to join household with a teen or child sim before) or if it is part of the bug.

thirdly, the split from household and move menu seems to be so broken, both in terms of almost all households being missing from the list to join and the menu itself freezing after trying to move (tested this with cassandra, unclear if this is an issue for All sims or just the ones impacted by this bug)

@ALittleBitAlexa Please remove MCCC and test if they also move out without it. As you said, the splitting & merging is bugged and already has a thread but the main issue of this (random Sims moving out of household) is not a functionality the game offers even with NS. NS only move in/out entire households.

All bugs reported must be tested on a vanilla game which means empty mods folder except for resource.cfg file.

@crinrict I'm not really sure how to test it efficiently after taking out mccc because it happens so randomly and in both cases it happened after a long time in the save. Unless I play through an entirely new save for like weeks just to see if it happens there doesn't seem to be a consistent way to check if it would happen again/without mccc... open to any suggestions though (although that might be my only option). I suppose I can take this to the mccc discord as well to see if it's happening to anyone else
    thanks
