Sims wearing random clothes

Around 3 days ago I noticed that one specific Sim was randomly changing clothes. When he was changing outfits, part of the clothing, ex pants were from the base game which I did not choose for him in CAS. when I tried to open Cas in full edit mode during gameplay, but there he was wearing his chosen clothes. When I got back to the game outfits still were, and still are changing randomly. I DO PLAY WITH MODS, but I've never had this problem before. I've used mod scanner and deleted broken mods, tried to reset the Sim, saved the family in library and sterted a new gameplay from scratch and adding the family with this guy, but he still randomly changes clothes. I tried removing every outfit to find out if it's about one specific clothing, but it didn't work either. Basically I've tried everything. I've never had this problem before on any other gameplay. Any ideas how to fix it?

  • @Caesarino_salad Mod scanners can't tell you anything about CC, and if you mean anything other than Better Exceptions or MC Command Center, they're basically useless.

    Please test vanilla:  Drag the Mods folder to the desktop, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving. You might want to back up your Saves folder first just in case you forget to not save.

  • Just did that: it worked but also didnt. After deleting the mod folder and cache file and running the game i didnt have the problem with clothes. I did as you told: open game, test it, close without saving. Delete file, then put mod folder again, new cache file was created, but it still went to the original problem after running it with mods again. I dont know what to do without deleting the mods. I honestly dont see myself deleting each of almost 2k files of mods each separately. Also the program I used is called mod conflict because i couldnt download BE. Thank you tho!

    @Caesarino_salad Mod conflict detectors don't do anything useful except, sometimes, find identical files (duplicates). There's a bit about why in How to Use Mods and CC .

    You don't have to test mods one by one. Use the 50-50 method, starting with big batches. Make sure to check the instructions there about keeping together mods that depend on each other. If you have things like XML Injector or Lot 51's Core, you can leave those in while you test (assuming they're up to date).
