This problem started for me about the end of December 2023. Sims simply put dirty dishes back onto the table or a cabinet.
No mods at all related to sinks in any way. The only work around I have found is to drop a dishwasher into every household I play.
@shorty943p Have you tested without mods at all, and in other lots?

Yes to your question. This is in all games, in all worlds and households.
It's not that they try to wash dishes in the bathroom, or laundry, they simply don't wash the dishes at any sink. They will only use a dishwasher.
@shorty943p Could you please do a clean-folder test?
- Exit Sims 4 then drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop.
- Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options.
- Start with New to test if your issue recurs.
If that works:
- Exit and copy files out of your old Saves folder into the new Saves folder. Important: Don't just copy the old folder! You want to use the newly created folders.
- Launch Sims 4 and use Load to select your regular save to test. Exit without saving, because we haven't put mods/CC back yet
