sims won't allow my mods

After the last maybe two updates of The Sims, my mods don't work.. All of my Sims have lost their mods and my houses too. They won't work even while mods are enabled in the settings and I`ve been keeping restarting the game. That usually happens after an update, but they come back after I press the buttons that allow mods in the settings and restart again. I tried to open some of the houses I saved in my gallery in a new world, but that didn't work either. When I tried to build a new house, it wouldn't allow me to put the mods in the house either.  Please help me, I'm very sad about this, I´ve used soo much time to build my houses ☹️

  • @neamara It sounds like you need to remove broken mods and update mods that have available updates. Start at Broken/Updated Mods . When you replace an old mod with an updated one, delete the old one's .package and .ts4script files first (keep only .cfg files). Check the installation instructions for mods you update too -- many creators have been making changes to those recently. Before you test the game after doing removals and replacements, delete the file called localthumbcache.

If you still have issues after that, we can help you find the cause.
