Sims won't move but will do actions standing still

Hi I was hoping for your help please. I can click "go here" and my sims move but if I click "sleep" or "have a shower" their needs improve but they stay standing still. They also get stuck on the toi...

    Thanks Crin. I ended up uninstalling EA app, steam and Sims 4 and reinstalling just sims 4 and Ea app and it's seemed to have fixed it now.

I'm still having this issue on Mac with Origin, I uninstalled and cleaned the cache but nothing, the sims won't do anything but progressing on the tanks... they sleep standing.

@Honja127 Are you playing with any mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, please test without. Also, does it happen on a new save in a clean folder? Exit Sims 4 then drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop. Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options. Then test in a new game.
