Sims won't walk the dog

I've been playing a new family with a dog and I've noticed that my sims just... don't do anything when I tell them to walk the dog. They put the lead on the dog, and then just stand still. I've tried manually telling them to go places to see if it gets them moving, but it doesn't work. And I think my dog ran away because I wasn't able to walk it. I tried restarting the game but my sims still only put the dog on the leash and then stand still.

New game bug? I haven't played the game for a good few months

    @SianAF148 Do you use mods or CC? If so, test without by dragging the Mods folder to the desktop (and delete localthumbcache when you do that).

    I got around to checking that eventually and I found out that Zero's walkby mods are causing issues with dog walking. Now the annoying thing is that I can't even find the mod on Zero's patreon to update it
