sims4 mods not showing up in game - windows
I have tried everything I've seen online. I freshly reset my laptop and downloaded the sims4 newest update through EA, the game ran smoothly and did not have a mods folder, so I added one and added the resource.cfg file manually. I have my files in this order: Program Files > EA Games > The Sims 4 > Mods. I added a single mod to the mods folder and tried to see if it would work and it still didn't. I have complete permissions enabled. There is no cache so far to delete. Also, I have mods and script mods enabled inside of the sims4 in game options. I have also tried repairing the game through EA but it has done nothing.
Is there some kind of file I may be missing? Something I may need to delete?
@z0mbcat You're looking for the Mods folder in the wrong place. Please remove this one (you may need to restart your computer first), and instead use this guide to find the correct folder:
