Sims4 mods with EA app

Hello i have a mac i just start to play back sims4 I downloaded the ea app the origin doesn't work anymore I went into game options and click the 2 button that allows you to play with mods I apply changes and exit the game but no mod folder showing up and it's not like the files am use to on origin I attach a picture of the files that shows up Help game play is not the same with the mods
