Skin looks like it's "glowing" or shiny

Odds are it's a skin, and you can try pulling those out first. But there's a lot of CC that's currently incompatible with the game code. You might just want to pull it all and add it back in gradually anyway. You'll find some problem CC named in topics here.

Excellent :) It's such a shame that the GTW update broke so much CC as well as mods :/

I deleted the skins I had and some mods that are on the incompatible list but my sim is still glowing :(. I really hate that I have to go through all my files to see what else could be causing this issue.

Is your sim an alien? They do glow at times when their emotions are overcharged, even when they are in disguise. Also, the baby aliens are shiny which transfers to any clothing CC they wear.
