Does anyone have problems with the skin tone sliders in game? Skin tones will only change to lighter when using the in game slider, taken out all my mods + cc and repaired my game. Noticed this bug when all my sims skin tones where different after the update. I also have the face bug and was wondering if this is connected?
Yeah I have this same problem! Existing sims who I used the slider to make darker show up with lighter skin than they were made with. Brightness sliders can go up but not down. I noticed it with makeup too. I had mods but I took them out and repaired my game and even made a new vanilla save but the issue remains
yeah! Also made a new vanilla save thinking it might be related to cc, but nothing changed.
Try downloading The sims 4 studio and proceed with the following:
Content Management > Batch Fixes > CAS > Update Skintones.
Content Management > Batch Fixes > CAS > Update Sliders.

Tried the batch fixes but nothing changed. It's the game skin tone slider that isn't working, it will only make a skin tone lighter but not darker, and it has also affected sims I made before the patch.
I saw there was another thread on this, I "me too"'d so we can hopefully get it fixed! it seems like its only affecting m1/m2 mac players and is not cc related like you said! pls me too the post if you can also 🙂
