So I finally caved in...

Back in the good old sims 2 days I used lots of CC. I was planning on not making the same 'mistake' in sims 4. There is so much in the game, I don't need much CC. With the frequent updates it can break constantly and it can make the game run slower.
But last week I caved in and got some CC furniture. The main reason was to complete some of the maxis sets I like. I especially enjoy using the Realm of Magic furniture. I was already a fan of that style before it was introduced in the sims.

My kitchens look better with matching upper cabinets

My spellcasters have families and I love to have a toddler bed to match the set. Now if only someone would make a matching infant crib.

Along with the toddler crib I found a great alternative version of the double bed. The original version is very massive in small bedrooms but now I can have the canopy bed without the canopy.

The bed frames and mattresses are separated. Having them separate needs getting used to but it feels like going back to the good old sims 2 days where choosing sheets separately from bed frames was base game!

As a little extra I also added some other toddler beds, just because I could.
Spoiler
This is a completely different style but I always liked this quirky kids set and think it is perfect for a toddler.

Now the real challenge will be not to add too much CC to keep the game running smooth.
  • Could you link to the CC? I would love those matching upper cabinets.
  • Yes, if you still have the link where you got the Realm of Magic match stuff, I've been looking for something like that. Those ROM counters are so distinctive, none of the upper cabinets in the game go well with them.

I only recently started with CC myself and some of it is incredibly useful.

Currently, I'm on the hunt for more decor options for Art Deco and Boho styles for a couple of houses I'm working on (if anyone has any suggestions it'd be greatly appreciated).

There are some nice items on The Sims Resource website.
