SOLVED Need help with T.O.O.L. mod

I really love the tool mod but I have some issues with it. I'm not able to select multiple items at a time, I saw an article saying when you click a new item it will highlight both items in green and then they can be moved together but when I click a new item it highlights the new item and the one I clicked on originally is now no longer green and doesn't move with the other item. Am I supposed to hold down a button while I select or what am I missing?

So I figured it out it is just a button click I feel dumb haha.
In case anyone else is having this same issue you have to alt click or create a grouping box.
