Some cc not showing up but…

So Ive been digging for some answers on how to fix this all over google and found that deleting the localthumbcache fixes my problem BUT only for one game session. Like when I exit the sims 4 and then eventually run it again, if I haven’t deleted the localthumbcache again, the same cc will be gone again.

Would greatly appreciate some help in fixing the problem more long term. Lol And if need be I can post my cc list and specs if it would help.

I updated my computer and repaired the game last night and all cc except a specific slider is showing up and working properly for now. I wouldnt have even posted the question without trying both of those first if i had known my computer even needed updated. lol :/

  • Nix that last comment. It’s still not working. Sometimes now even if I delete the localthumbcache it doesn’t show up.

@M3WPHISTO  Are you using a tool to manage your mods and custom content, for example TSR's CC Manager?  If so, please remove it for now, then move the Mods folder to the desktop (again) and allow the game to generate a new one before adding back any mods or cc.

@M3WPHISTO  Is any of your custom content working?  Of the items that don't work, have you checked how old they are?  A lot of cc broke with the patch that accompanied High School Years, so please look for updated versions of any files with older dates.
