Some of the Sims 4 mods are not showing up in game/don't get recognized

I bet this is my last cry for help now. I have tried everything I could find on the internet to do. Heck, I even asked ChatGPT for help...

Yesterday was everything normal, until today. I know there has been a new update that it is normal for your mods not to show up and that you first have to enable them again, restart, and play. That's one thing I did out of the many other things I have tried, and it still didn't work. I have also tried to get them all out of the folder, and back in, looked if all the files were "package"-files, which they were, and I tried to make the "resource"-file again since it was suddenly an Adobe-acrobat-document.

I have set a screenshot of all my mods, their folders (which are over a thousand, so re-installing won't be an option...), and a screen of what I see in the game as my mods.

I hope that someone can help me out!

  • I replaced all my folders somewehere else and took them one by one back in the mods folder and then checked if the sims 4 game recognized them, but still not a single mod showed op. Even if I place a single hair mod for example, it doesn't show up.

  • I followed the steps for the windows 10 defender, but most of my mods still won't show up. I also downloaded sims 4 mod manager now, and that app did recognize all my mods.  I also downloaded the better exceptions mod by twistedmexi, but nothing popped up. I now also tried to just download a single simple T-shirt mod and place it alone in my mod folder, but it didn't show up in the game.

I placed again two screenshots, one of my folder and one what I see in the game.

I already want to thank you for all the help!!

@Whats1000Min7 FYI WonderfulWhims is broken. Your version of MCCC is also old and one of its symptoms if not updated is that it doesn't show up in game. See Broken/Updated Mods & CC After you've caught up on what needs updating, try again.

I advise not using the Mod Manager or at the very least making sure to not let it rename files. It has a habit of causing duplicates.
