Stuck at Job/Job Panel not progressing

I was able to update my game just this week and had experience the following bugs/glitches which frustrates me so much, I hope you can help me.

1. Sim stuck at work - my Sim panel says she is still at work when she's not already, I have tried the "leave early" - doesn't work, I tried restarting my game - doesn't work, I tried saving then changing household - doesn't work.

2. Job panel not progressing - I have met all the requirements needed for the promotion but my Sim's job panel is stuck at "Average".

    @xxboahancock 

    What platform are you playing on?  PC, Mac or console?  

    If you are playing on a PC or Mac, are you using any mods or CC.  If you are, then you might have a broken or outdated mod causing it that you will have to hunt down and remove or update.

    And have you tried a game repair?

    Stuck at home - Have you tried traveling to another lot and back home?  That works most of the time.

    Promotions - sometimes it just take a long time for the promotion to happen. Have you tried using the Work Hard option you get when you click on the portrait on your sim's icon at the bottom of the screen.  That will usually improve the rate of promotion progress on the bar but it does have an impact on their motives that you have to deal with.  And if it still won't move, then you can try quitting and rejoining the career.  That will cost you a career level usually but it does usually work.  It will also fix the stuck at work issue as well.

    @CGrant56 I've taken your advices and this is what happened..

    1. Stuck at work - this works, but sadly, I have to do this everyday that she goes to work.

    2. Promotions - this is what frustrates me, it's been weeks since my Sim have completed the daily tasks for promotion, she's socializing with co-workers and been maintaining a positive mood at work, I have also considered quitting from work and joining that career again, but to no avail. I've tried playing a different household but the job panel is still not progressing.

    @CGrant56 hey, I just want to let you know that I've unabled all my CCs/Mods and it fixed the issue! Bugs solved!

    For now, I'll be checking one by one which CC/Mod is broken.
