Stuck in battle with The Mother

I've never asked for help with Sims before because I can usually google answers, but this time it's different. To start with, I have absolutely NO custom content or mods in my game. I am playing on a...

    I don't want to tell you how to win with Mother. You should discover it yourself. I will try to help you get out of the trouble.
    Go to the game folder in the documents.
    Documents/Electronic Arts /The Sims4

    Delete localthumbcache.package file in the game folder - important!
    Fix the game in Origin.
    Origin/Library -right click on TS4 - option "Repair game"
    You have to wait until Origin will fix all packs, not only the base game.

    Start once more a game and save one minute before this battle.

    Always save option "Save as, - changing number ".You can always return to the previous state of play in this way.
    If you do not want to change the fate of your sim, before your sim will go to the laboratory, this eldest daughter should be moved to his family. Leave her at home before the trip.
    This should prevent this bug.

    Thank you! I am happy to learn how to beat Mother on my own, and am even ok with losing a sim to battle, just not all that progress. Thank you so much for your help, I'm repairing the game in Origin presently.
