stuck in home

i made a new game & created a sim household but when i clicked done & went to move my sims into a home, it said that i couldn't afford any lots & that my money is in the negatives (it's like -129,000 or something like that). it won't let me do anything i'm stuck in the moving in thing

    You could try the free real estate cheat to place them (Ctrl + Shift + C then FreeRealEstate On).

    Then once they’re placed you could use motherlode a couple times to bring their funds up.

    When you created them, did you make them from scratch, or did you include any Sims from your library or the gallery?

    @jiukfgbbm0k7 Check the household funds of the ones from the gallery - they're probably the culprit. Made from scratch you should start with $20000 for the first Sim with an additional $2000 for each additional Sim. But if they're saved to the library or gallery, they can come in with whatever household funds they had in game before they were saved, which may not be enough to buy a plot.
