@xiolar When you create the new household in this save, what do you mean by "exit the game and press the continue button"? Does it work to save/quit/reload? You can use "save as" to rename the save so you don't overwrite your current save.
Please also try moving your main household to a different lot, then loading the household and the lot separately. The idea here is to distinguish between problems with the sims and with their house.
So I updated my game today and it's kind of fixed? Like if I open up Sims 4, then press the Continue/Resume button, like the one you press to go back where you left off, then I get stuck in the endless loading screen. But if I press load game and then go into my save, then it works? So it's not really an issue anymore but it's just annoying. Yeah I can quit, save and stuff now. My icons are a little ruined from my mods and I can't seem to use Modify in cas anymore though ☹️

Sorry for the late reply. I managed to fix the broken mods and remove it from my game, (the only thing that's been fixed is the broken icon from the cc) and I checked it was all fixed in a new save, so the save I wanted to play initially is still broken. So, since I can't enter the household, or any household in that specific save, I can't press Resume from the main menu, so I have to press Load game, and then my desired save. Loads into the Manage worlds menu. Choose a household. Then an endless loading screen.
I've tried to remove the mods from the thread linked in your reply but everything's still the same unfortunately.
I'm not sure if this is relevant but when I was clearing the mods doing the 50-50 method, one sim disappeared from my household and I was able to play normally?? There was a message displayed and it was like an item has been removed as the EA account you're playing on does not have the item ?? Or something idk.
