Also, I do have Sims4Studio, but may I ask how do I use it to find broken cc? I didn't know we could do it on that.

May I also ask you for a bit more info on what a GraphicsRule.sgr file is? Ive never heard of that before.
A little update: Currently still in the process of ruling out all folders / files that are causing a crash.. its quite a few folders truthfully.
Is there a possibility that the save file itself is corrupt? Maybe, or maybe not from bad CC?
I went back to backup of my current save file, and playing it from when before it was crashing.. it seems fine. Mind you it did crash but not immediately we're talking like maybe 3-4 hrs into gameplay which was the norm for me prior.
I'm worried it'll start crashing sooner, and sooner again.. so I guess I'll keep an eye on it.
Just trying to rule out what it could possibility be.
Also, about downloaded recent CC.. I've only recently downloaded new CAS CC, and all CAS is completely fine in the game, only build buy cc causes a crash.
It's possible for a save to be corrupted, but if it's not crashing with CC and is crashing with some other CC, it seems more likely to be the CC. You can do testing on a new save, though.
Crashing even a few hours into gameplay is also not normal, though.
Okay, for the build CC, you can test in a couple of methods: by creator or by function. If you already organize your CC by creator, that's probably the easiest method. If you don't have it organized, though, you could either organize by creator (with an "everyone else" for creators who don't put their name in the file name) or by function. If you organize by function, I'd suggest first testing batches of appliances, activity objects, doors, fences and gates, and seating.
You might also have duplicates, which while not likely to cause crashing, isn't going to help. MC Command Center and Better Exceptions both have ways to help you identify and get rid of duplicates.
Sims 4 Studio does have some batch functions that you might want to run on CC in case you got older content that was never updated for particular patches.
