I'm playing on Windows 11 Home Single Language version 22H2, on a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15IML05 64-bit operating system Intel core i5 with 8GB Ram
I saw some ways to fix it for Windows from closed threads but even those solutions didn't work so I ade this thread. I'm not sure what could be causing this because I never had this issue before but since the latest patch it's happening along with my build/buy tab not closing when i'm in build buy mode but I'm guessing that's a problem for a different thread.
@KingBasieSims4 The tab closing was a design change they made so that's not a bug but it's causing edge scrolling to not working on PC/Mac so it might have other side effects.
I'm not that good with camera issues but did you ever delete the videocamerastates folder in the doc folder ?

Yes. With every restart and testing I deleted it and still my camera does that. I've even tried to repair my game then try to update it incase it didn't update properly. Still no fix. It's honestly causing me stress because I need to record intro cinematics for my videos.
Can I upload pics to show what the tab looks like? Because I don't ever use Edge scrolling. My problem is if I click the buy mode and it's on kitchen, the misc decor tab is already open and will stay that way even if I go to a category that doesn't have misc decor like the bathroom. The only way I know the tab is closed is when the item catalog is not highlighted and the filter bar is gone,bit the menu strip stays on the screen.
- crinrict3 years agoHero+@KingBasieSims4 Build mode was changed. they did that on purpose. Console players are complaining about it even more than PC player ones so hopefully they'll change it back.
For the camera issue, can't you just not use 9 and go with the others ? I really don't use any of these states so I can't really help you with it but since 9 is also used for moo, it's best not to use it at all. - KingBasieSims43 years agoNew Traveler
The 9 key works when when I'm using it on a different point. And the point where the camera spins and points down, it doesn't matter what key I use. I tried it with the 5, 6,7 and, 8 and all of them have that exact reaction.
Is there someone who might be able to help me with the camera keys?

fov = 57.822407I had to recreate it because I had to move from origin and had a bit of trouble with the EA App. I repaired my game, regenerated my sims 4 folder and tried the cinematic camera but now all the points from 5-9 spin and pan down

Trash the file to get rid of the stored camera angles and do not assign a camera angle to 9! - KingBasieSims43 years agoNew Traveler
I've done that. I tried doing it without assigning camera angle 9 and with it. still no change. Here is the new log when I do it without camera angle 9, this time it's only 5 and 6 that pan down and spin

No idea then. Have you tried with testing one camera angle at a time, all on just one lot? - KingBasieSims43 years agoNew Traveler
No, Just the last two VCS.ini loads I tested on the original Lot and save file. Previously after crinrict asked that I check, I test the same build in a new save on a new lot in Newcrest, same issue, then I rebuild the exact area I was doing the camera points with the basement included and still same issue. Then I tried adding the points one at a time and testing, as in I input angle 5 and test if it is set then move to the next point and test the two points and so forth. still the same result in the end.
