Tedious Aging up glitch

So to note I have an updated version of MCCC installed, and regardless of what version of the game I've played this glitch keeps happening only now with the latest update it's much worse and much more frequent.

 My sims would have that aging up chime only to "age up" to their current age; for example I had a child age up to child with the animation for when a baby becomes a toddler; but it's not limited to just my child sims, I've had this happen with all ages of sims save for babies. What usually happens when they "age up" is they stand idle for however long doing nothing, so I reset sim and then they "age up".
