Teens can't have romance with anyone!

Question

My teens cannot perform romantic interactions. Even if i cheat the romance bar. I removed all mods, repaired my game and deleted the localthumbcache. I don't know what to do next. i have multiple teens in my save and it didn't work for any of them. Please help, i'm doing the ultimate decades challenge so i NEED for teens to be able to have romantic interactions. The romance bubble doesn't even appear.

@ASDsimmer Try this please:

Drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document &gt; Electronic Arts to your desktop.
Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options.
Start with New to test if your issue recurs in a new game.

If that works, start putting old content back:

Exit and copy files out of your old Saves folder into the new Saves folder. Important: Don't just copy the old folder! You want to use the newly created folders.
Launch Sims 4 and use Load to select an older save to test.
