Text not displaying in game main menu

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Steam-PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.89.214.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? holiday celebration pack, cats & dogs, city living, get famous, get to work, get together, seasons, parenthood, realm of magic and vampires.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? It occurs when the main menu is open. The "Play scenario" button doesn't appear and when I click it, the only stuff that appears are 3 of the 18 boxes appear with text. The others are blank. It also appears sometimes in game with some of the options to interact with other sims.
What happens when the bug occurs? The text doesn't appear in the boxes
What do you expect to see? I expect to see text. My friend logged into her game and it did not have the same problems I do. She can see text where I can.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

    @ncapelia There's currently two issues going on for empty text: Mods and incomplete game installations.

    Do you just have missing text on the main menu ?

    Please try without any mods/cc to see if the same problem occurs. If it doesn't try repairing your game through Steam.

    I tried both of them and it didn't work sadly. I really don't know what's wrong since everyone else does not seem to have this particular problem

    No, it's the main menu with the play scenario button and also the text when you click on it doesn't show. Also sometimes shows up ingame when some speech options doesn't show either. I've tried removing the mods and reparing it multiple times, but it won't work. I don't know what else to try either. I'm so noob at this haha

    @ncapelia You might need to reinstall the game. I don't know how well the steam repair works. You did use the steam repair and not Origin, right ?

    I use origin repair yeah. I think I said steam by accident sorry :/

    @ncapelia So you're not using the Steam version of the game but the origin one ? If you use steam, you should use repair through steam.
