I might noticed that to late but suddenly ALL Occult Sims are deleted (mine.. the Townies.. even Greg) and even removing all of my mods would not bring them back...
They might be lost forever and I've no Idea what has caused that, so it is possible that I've saved the game with them gone..
Still try to get them back if there is a chance
I have the exact same issue. Managed to go back 3 saves, but they were still gone. It's not a problem with mods. It had to happen after an update.
All of the occult sims disappeared from the game. The game packs are not gone, the cities from them are still there, and you can create occult sims in the CAS, but the sims that existed are gone, including the townies (Vlad for example). I checked for broken mods but it's not a mod issue. It had to happen after a game update, around beginning to middle of September.I managed to go to 3 saves back that was around that time and they were already gone.
@Bawaowata @ChessKnight13 The only known cause for this is an outdated Hybrid Occult mod. See TwelfthDoctor1 for an updated one and check the instructions - they matter. See Broken/Updated Mods & CC The broken version will delete Sims in all your saves, not just ones you only played since the patch.
I saw people mentioning this Hybrid Occult mod, but I don't have it, and never did. Only mod I use is MCCC and I always keep it updated to the latest version.
@Bawaowata There's no known issue with MCCC that would delete only Occult Sims (the Deaderpool server would have a lot of people flooding in with that issue if it did). Have you tested without your Mods/CC to see if the Sims appear in the oldest version of your save?
I did delete the whole mods folder but nothing changed, the're not back, it's probably also because my oldest save I could recover was from like 22nd Sep, and I believe it's way after the major game updates. I think they're gone forever :/
@Bawaowata I'm so sorry to hear it ☹️ Do you have a backup folder of your saves from before the patch? That would be your best option.
Have you had any luck solving this or are they just gone? I've just realised mine are gone as well and I don't want to believe I've just lost them all!
