I thought it was because of the mods/cc I downloaded but I deleted all the recent ones and it still showed up.

Did you clean the cache and repair the game after you removed the mods? If not, I suggest to delete the file localthumbcache.package in the main directory of the game and then repair the game in Origin.

Are you using the Legacy Edition perhaps? Your version of the game is pretty old.
