After the latest big update with the new colour swatches and the new info about the upcoming Expansion pack, I realised that the functional lockers in my highschool are TRANSPARENT. Plus the icon that shows the progress of the day in the high school is transparent an buggy too with missing small icons. Everything was just fine before the update. At first, I thought that was due to the update my save was bugged and so i deleted it and made a new one but nope, the bugs are still there. Please EA or somebody help. Thank you.

I have this problem as well. My game is repaired, I uninstalled all mods (only MC Command Center in my case), I don't use any CC and deleted the local thumbcache as I was advised in another bug report I did. I'm still testing the other issue I had but this one was happening as well and it persists even now.To be more precise, these build&buy items became invisible/transparent a while ago:High school locker (Locker from High School Years EP)EZPZ shower stall - by Umpa Loofa (Shower from Discover University EP)Barellwood shower (Shower from Horse Ranch EP)As you can hopefully see on the images, lockers are still partially visible but the showers are completely invisible and only a shadow on the floor remains. When I click on them, their outlines appear (the second screenshot was made in the Foxbury university housing that came with Discover University so there should be a row of showers).

I don't have the University and Horse Ranch packs but I do have the High school years. I have checked ALL of my mods and updated them all but the problem still persists. The lockers are functional, they do work just fine. It's just that they are transparent. This became a bug a while ago like you mentioned and I have no idea what else i can do.

@Maljian @3iu7po0zax3u @Maljian If you can replicate with these steps, please let us know: Drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop. Run a Game Repair Launch Sims 4 send a Sim in a new save to High School.

@Maljian Next step is to see if the new, fresh, mod-free, no-cache folder solves your issue in your previous save. Copy the save files out of the old folder into the new folder and see if the bug is resolved.

I'm on laptop. However turns out it wasn't due to the recent update. I had UI Cheats in my mods and they probably aren't compatible with the new update. I read somewhere that if i deleted the UI cheats it should be back to normal. I did that and re-opened the game. I got to build-mode and checked the functional lockers from High-School years and they weren't transparent anymore. So it was probably the UI cheats. Anyhow, thanks for reaching out!

Look, at first I thought it was the UI cheats, but i believe it's not. I think it's a genuine bug since I deleted the UI cheats and the lockers are still invisible. At first i thought the problem was fixed but turns out it's not so I'm led to believe that it's a genuine bug

@3iu7po0zax3u Please test vanilla: Exit Sims 4 then move (not copy) your Mods folder to your desktop or rename it. Then delete the file called localthumbcache from Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. If you think you might accidentally forget to exit without saving after testing, copy your Saves folder to your desktop too, to back it up. Now open Sims 4 and see if you still have the problem. If you don't, you can start the process of figuring out what from your Mods folder was causing it.

I have had this problem with multiple objects appearing as transparent but still being functional. For example, bookshelves at the library or bathroom stalls. I don’t have any mods or CC, so it’s likely a bug
