I have this same problem and I disabled mods and created a new save.

@KrystalFoxSimmer Did you delete the localthumbcache file? If you can replicate this with these steps, please head to bug reports:
- Drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop.
- Run a Game Repair
- Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options.
- Start with New to test if your issue recurs in a new game.
- If that works, exit and copy files out of your old Saves folder into the new Saves folder. Important: Don't just copy the old folder! You want to use the newly created folders.
- Launch Sims 4 and use Load to select an older save to test.

That's exactly what bug I have too! Oh gosh, it's a relief i'm not the only one. How the heck will this get fixed? Will EA address this?

@3iu7po0zax3u Is this happening for you in a new save with no mods/CC? A Game Repair is also a good idea here.
