The vet wont treat my dog.

My dog in sims was glowing. Soon after seeing this I asked it what was wrong and clicked on the option 'take to the vet'. Everything was fine until I came up to the flashing device to check in and it said, 'no eligible pet on the lot' so all the options were grey and I couldn't choose any. I had my dog with me so it was kinda weird but I didn't think it would be that bad. Instead, I purchased a few wellness treats from the vending machine and attempted to give one to my dog. However, this didn't work either as there was no option to feed it to her. What do I do now?
