There’s no butter in the game but some recipes require butter?

Im not sure if I just havent looked hard enough or what but I cant find butter in the game, but I want my sim to make pies, but I need butter for pie crust and im playing with simple living :(

Are you using mods? You'll have to ask the mod creator how to either purchase or make butter. In a vanilla game, pies take an egg, a flour or sugar, and something for the filling - like apples for apple pie or a pumpkin for pumpkin pie.
