Time jumps back glitch

Question

I just started playing on an old savefile again. So when I came back, I gave my sims whole house a makeover. After I was done, I also decided to give my sim a makeover. When I got out of CAS however, the house I had just builded had been removed and replaced with the old house.

This problem has happend to me multiple times in different saves and with different families in different worlds.

Does anyone know what causes this problem and if there are other people with this problem?

@crinrict Yes I do. However, my mods should be up-to-date. But at this point, quite a few parts of my game seem to be broken.

@Brittbeeldman  Make a backup of your save game, remove all mods/cc, delete the localthumbcache file and check on a vanilla game.
