If there is not enough free room for the age up animation the Toddler will go to the nearest place with enough space. That can be a long way off.
That isn’t what’s happening though. I know what you’re talking about and that’s not this. The toddler queues up the “wander” action, wanders around, and then goes back to the cake to age up. My kitchen has plenty of room to age up and they can do it right in front of the cake. The toddlers shouldn’t be queueing up another action before aging up.
