Hi I was wondering how you fixed this problem? I’m now having the same issue and have gotten to the point of re-installing but still not seeing traits. What was the answer?
This has been happening to me. All my game files have been removed pre uodate and not added back and it does it when I try to create a test save. Forst happened after August update and I dont usually make new sims unless im making one to test the game before I add stuff back but its still happening. Doing a game repair to see if it fixes it.
Kitten_mittens81 Please do this sequence of steps, exactly:
- Drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop and rename it.
- Run a Game Repair in the EA App. (If you use Steam, the equivalent is Verify Integrity.)
- Launch Sims 4. You should get no list of mods on launch, and you should have no option to load a previous save. Reset your Options.
- Start with New to test if your issue recurs in a new game.
I did this, and it gives me a fresh new game, but it still doesn't show the trait panels.
11051216 Please head to Bug Reports or Gameplay Issues if this isn't working for you after following all the steps I gave, in the order given. (Don't skip any steps -- every one matters.) But you might want to wait till after today's game patch.
