Transparent Icons

Can someone help me please? I’ve been trying to fix my sims game for hours. At first when I entered build mode and exited my icons wouldn’t work and I couldn’t interact with anything. It wouldn’t even let me leave. I later on fixed that by downloading a build mod and extracting folders. I rejoined the game but now the icons are clear/transparent. I can still interact with them but I some of the icon colors are different or transparent. I decided to leave the game and delete this building mod because someone else said that it helped them. However, that did not work. It ended up resetting all the folders I extracted. Will me extracting my folders again make everything go back to normal? This has started since yesterday.

    @tamialovescats You can troubleshoot to see what Mod/CC is causing the issue as follows:

    Try moving the Mods folder from your "The Sims 4" folder [Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4] to your desktop (save it for reference) and delete the localthumbcache.package file in your “The Sims 4” folder. Then check in a new game save to see if this issue is still occurring. You can test without saving in order to identify which CC/Mods are causing the issue, then remove or add updated version(s) of the Mod/CC causing the issue.
