Trouble with Custom content

Question

Hi everyone, I’m relatively new to sims and I want to download some CC.

I’ve dowloaded one cc on to my game. But I can’t do some other files I want.

For some reason i can’t find a mods folder in my desktop when I find the sims 4 folder. So after looking at many websites on how to do it. It said to just make a folder for your mods so I did.

I downloaded some CC from the internet and I think I have done the correct order to get them on the game.

But when I launch sims the cc is nowhere to be found.

Is there a certain place where the folder needs to be placed for the game to recognise the mod?

Can some please look at the photos and see what I’m doing wrong. Thank you.

@minititch123&nbsp;First off you can not just make your own folder it should be obvious that this will not work. The site you downloaded from should have install instructions. By default it goes in this folder: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods. I noticed that you had some packed files these need to be unpacked using an appropriate unpacker.

@jpkarlsen Hi again, I’ve tried looking for the folder but no items match my search when I look for it. Is there any way to fix this?

@minititch123 If you’re on Mac the entire Electronic Arts folder in Documents is hidden from search. You have to navigate to it yourself.
