I have it working with MCCC and a slew of other mods and cc content, so I really don't know... what I usually do is whenever I add, update or remove a mod (or any cc content) I clean out (NOT delete) the 'cache' folder (this is within your Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/ directory) and also make sure I remove the file called 'localthumbcache.package' which can contain data from previous mods (which is in the mentioned directory).
Other than that, perhaps re-download the UI mod again - you may have gotten a corrupted download file.
