@crinrict I am not getting any error code, but my game crashes every save. And it does not crash and load the desktop, it just sits there in limbo.
This has made the game unplayable. Here is where I am rather frustrated.
I have been playing the sims since the 1st one over a decade ago. I played sims 3 for years after the release of sims 4 due to the amount of issues that are present in the sims 4. It is very clear to me that EA has no problem releasing an errored game that is unplayable. I still cannot put my toddler in a high chair without the parents immediately taking them out and the child starving. It has been several years since that release and EA does not care what so ever about fixing it.
They just care about money.
Since buying for rent my game has become unplayable and EA's customer service cannot refund it, why Colorado law says returns can happen within 60 days of purchase, but not with EA.
I have posted on here several times, and nothing happens. I am at the point where I really hate EA and I want my money back for this for rent pack. All it did was break my game. EA is not working on a solution, just like all of the other errors they bring to the table. I do not know what to do. I just want my money back. This is not ok.

@becny I feel you on EA not meeting the consumers needs and allowing this to be a continued issue with no resolution.
You’re not alone on your toddler/infant issue. I’ve had this happen to me with the high chair and the crib. It’s very frustrating.
The game is clearly broken today though. We are having some errors. I am not sure what’s in the water. I haven’t had an issue building before and today it’s been lagging for me. My households are mess. Hopefully we get clarity or something soon. It can’t just be us having this issue.
