Unable to play live mode

Literally unable to play any old or new save files.

I first noticed the issue when a save I've been playing most recently didn't show a household member at the main screen and instead a white figure of a random sim. The game then asked me to select a season when I wanted to continue playing the save, and then a world to play in. When in the screen to select a world the game doesn't show any of the worlds and doesn't show the household I'm playing as.

When I created a new sim the same issue happened. The game did not recognise that I was playing with that household, said I had 0 simoleons and did not show any worlds after selecting a season. I am literally only able to use CAS and open the gallery. I tried uninstalling all mods and that did not change anything.

This happened after installing the newest update made on the 6th of March this year.

TLDR: Game sends me to select a world even with a pre-existing save but won't show a single world. Also is adamant that I don't have a household selected even if I'm coming straight off of  cas. Happened after the newest sims update.
